Training for Individuals & Webinars

Can I pay for my training or webinar via invoice?

Blue Knot Foundation does not provide invoices for our scheduled trainings and webinars. We require payment to be made upfront when registration is completed. We provide receipts and tax invoices which can be used for reimbursements through your organisation.

Do you record your webinars and/or online training?

Blue Knot Foundation does not record its webinars and online trainings. The only way to access the material is to attend one of the scheduled dates.

Blue Knot has free resources available on its website, including downloadable factsheets, videos, and publications. We recommend having a look at these as they may provide the information you are looking for.

Is there a student rate for trainings or webinars?

We do not offer a student rate for trainings or webinars. Students are welcome to attend but will need to pay the standard rate.

Is there a concession rate or early bird rate for trainings or webinars?

We do not offer concessions rates or early bird rates for our trainings. We offer a discount for Blue Knot professional members. Further information about our professional membership can be found here: https://professionals.blueknot.org.au/contact-us/join-us/

Can I refund or transfer my place at one of the trainings or webinars?

Refunds and transfers will not be provided if the request is received within four weeks of the scheduled date. Blue Knot Foundation will only consider requests received within four weeks of the scheduled date if exceptional circumstances have occurred. Please read our detailed policy which can be found in the terms and conditions of your booking.

What dietary restrictions can be catered for at the trainings and workshops?

Blue Knot Foundation can cater for dietary restrictions and allergies. If your dietary needs are complex, Blue Knot Foundation recommends you bring your own food as the venues may not be able to cater for this.

Due to our venues policies, all dietary restrictions need to be communicated to Blue Knot Foundation at least 10 days prior to the scheduled date. Any dietary restrictions received within 10 days of the scheduled training may not be catered for.

Do we get lunch?

Our publicly scheduled face-to-face trainings are fully catered (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea). If you have notified Blue Knot of your dietary restrictions, the venue will have an individually plated meal prepared with your name on it.

When will I receive my certificate of attendance?

Certificates are emailed to participants within 2 weeks after the training or webinar has occurred. Once the Facilitator verifies with Blue Knot that you were present for the entirety of the training day(s), certificates are emailed to the email address provided at the time of the original booking.

Can I join a face-to-face training virtually or remotely?

There isn’t an option for individuals to join face-to-face training virtually. If you register to attend a face-to-face training, you will need to attend in person at the venue.

Training for Organisations

Can you train at my organisation?

Blue Knot Foundation provides organisational training around Australia to many different sectors and in many different locations. To avoid disappointment please make sure you book at least 8-12 weeks in advance for your training.

Blue Knot Foundation can tailor your training by adding in relevant case studies and information pertaining to your organisation. Our training packages are one- or two-day trainings and can be run concurrently. All training is facilitated in the venue of your choice, Blue Knot provides the facilitator and material which is best suited to your team and organisation.

To make an enquiry about training for your organisation please submit an online enquiry form. All enquiries will be responded to by our organisational training team within 7-10 business days.

What is the difference between organisational training and public training?

Blue Knot Foundation provides organisational training around Australia to many different sectors and in many different locations. Generally organisational training can be considered for 10 or more people. If you would like to train less than 10 people, we recommend attending one of our public trainings.

How many people can I have attend our training event?

For the safety of all participants given the subject matter, the maximum number of participants per event is 30. These numbers will be strictly adhered to for all organisational training bookings. We do not permit observers in the training session, all attendees must be registered participants.

Who organises the venue for our event?

The venue and catering are organised by the organisation for the training days. This venue should fit up to 30 participants comfortably on cabaret style tables with natural light if possible. This should also observe any COVID restrictions currently in place. 

Blue Knot Foundation will provide the facilitator and material for the day. There should be appropriate AV equipment provided on the day by the organisation and access to the internet. Further information will be provided to you by our training team at the time of booking your training.

Do you provide virtual training for organisations?

Blue Knot Foundation does offer virtual classrooms for our training programs. Please speak to one of our training consultants to discuss this further. All virtual classrooms are interactive like a face to face format. The expectation is that each participant registered has access to their own individual computer with camera and microphone for the session. 

The virtual platform used for all online training is Zoom. Blue Knot do not facilitate training on any other virtual platform.

When will I receive my certificate of attendance?

Certificates are emailed to participants within 2 weeks after the training or webinar has occurred and only if you have registered prior to training. Once the Facilitator verifies with Blue Knot that you were present for the entirety of the training day(s), certificates are emailed to the email address provided at the time of the original booking. It is recommended that all participants register at least three days prior to the event.

Do you offer blended learning?

Blue Knot Foundation offers training programs in person or via the virtual platform Zoom. We also have in-house training as well as our public training for individuals this is both full day and webinar format. Please contact us to further discuss your training requirements.

Can a participant who has registered via an in-house organisational training, transfer to a public training?

No, a participant who has registered through their organisation for an in-house session is unable to move across to a public training program.

Supervision & Practice

Do you offer public group supervision for individuals to join?

Blue Knot offers group supervision for organisations and teams. We do not offer public group supervision sessions for individuals to join or individual one on one sessions currently.
