Terms and Conditions
- The following terms and conditions apply to all registrations made for Blue Knot Foundation’s community workshops.
- Blue Knot Foundation provides psychoeducational workshops focused on understanding complex trauma. These workshops are not therapeutic groups or peer support groups.
- The content of this workshop may be triggering for some participants. It is the participants’ responsibility to assess the suitability of the workshop for their requirements and wellbeing.
- To attend our workshops, participants need to be registered for the event. It is important that only a person whose name has been registered attends the workshop. For safety reasons, Blue Knot cannot accept alternative attendees without a record of their registration.
- These workshops are for survivors and their families, friends, partners, and loved ones. These workshops are not professional development trainings, so professionals are unable to attend in a professional capacity. Certificates are not provided for our community workshops.
- Blue Knot Foundation reserves the right to make any changes to any workshop or event without notice. Changes to the workshop, such as rescheduling or cancellation, will be communicated to participants via email. Blue Knot Foundation will email the nominated address on your registration form, so it is recommended that participants include an email address they check regularly.
- For virtual classroom workshops and webinars (delivered via Zoom), it is the responsibility of the participants to ensure they have the correct equipment needed for this format. The correct equipment includes a working webcam and microphone, stable internet connection, and computer.
- No recording or photography is allowed during workshops or webinars.
- For virtual deliveries, Blue Knot Foundation will send an e-Booklet to participants prior to the workshop. For face-to-face workshops, printed copies of the booklet will be available at the venue.
- Blue Knot Foundation will cater for reasonable dietary restrictions. If you have complex dietary needs, it is recommended that you make alternative arrangements as the venues may not be able to accommodate these. All dietary restrictions must be communicated to Blue Knot Foundation no later than 7 business days before the scheduled workshop date. Blue Knot Foundation may not be able to cater for dietary restrictions received outside this timeframe.
- Please contact Blue Knot Foundation if you have not received your confirmation email within 24 hours of making your booking. Blue Knot Foundation sends several emails in the lead up to our workshops. We recommend keeping an eye on your junk/clutter/spam folders as our emails may land in these locations.
- As part of this registration process, your contact details will be added to our training management system and communication list. This means that you will receive promotional emails and newsletters from us. You can opt out of receiving these emails by updating your preferences in our preference centre. We keep your details confidential and secure, and our platform is GDPR compliant.
Cancellation Policy
